Me after making the first cut for my gaming/dining table
I'm often drawn to things I want to make before I know exactly how to make them. When I decided to build my own board game table, I taught myself woodworking to bring the idea to life and to develop a skill I could carry into future fabrication and prototyping projects.
I learn by trying things, testing ideas, and figuring things out as I go. Sketching, making, and experimenting help me explore possibilities and discover solutions I might not have found otherwise.
I also do my best work around other people. I enjoy exchanging ideas, learning from different perspectives, and finding new ways for people to interact with the things we make. I'm drawn to experiences that bring people together, whether that's around a board game or through an object that invites people to engage with it.
